I worked for Tennis Australia as their official photographer in Sydney for the inaugural United Cup, which saw group stages being held in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth before group winners converged on Sydney for the finals which saw team USA win.

My assignment saw me cover a lot of the branding and off court elements of the tournament, as well as some of the action which I’ve included below. I used the following kit to get me through

• Nikon Z9 x2
• Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8
• Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8
• Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8
• Nikon 400mm f/2.8
• Nikon 105mm f/1.4
• Nikon 50mm f/1.4

And for the portraits of the players I used the following:

• Godox AD600pro – Into a 180cm white lined umbrella
• Godox AD300pro – In a collapsible silver lined beauty dish
